Sauerlach – Skilful mix of tradition and modernity
Only about 20 kilometers from the Bavarian capital of Munich lies the largest municipality in the district in terms of area: Sauerlach. Covering an area of about 57 km², around 8,204 residents here enjoy the perfect mix of nature and proximity to the big city. Known as the “Gateway to the Bavarian Uplands”, Sauerlach offers numerous local recreation areas in the form of forests, biotopes and bodies of water. Excellent public transportation connections make getting to downtown Munich short and uncomplicated, and residents are quickly on their way in a variety of directions via the 995, 99 and 8 freeways.
Due to the sufficient infrastructure within the community, however, one is not dependent on public transportation or cars: various daycare centers and schools, numerous established doctors and pharmacies, a nursing facility and several centrally located grocery stores ensure the supply and are for the most part even accessible on foot or by bicycle.
Surroundings – Excellent infrastructure
With Munich city center just 20 km away, Sauerlach is excellently connected to the south of the state capital. Here you can reach the freeway junction Munich-South within minutes and thus quickly on the way to various destinations. Sauerlach is also surrounded by the Deisenhofener and the Hofoldinger Forst and thus popular places for local recreation. If you prefer a more urban atmosphere, you can reach Munich or Starnberg in no time by S-Bahn or by car.
With Lake Starnberg only about 30 km away, another very popular recreation area in Bavaria is in the vicinity. Here you can switch off from everyday life and feel like on vacation! If you prefer to fly properly on vacation, Munich airport is the right place: this is also only 45 minutes away by car.
Modern and timeless interior
Thanks to the solid brick construction of the new building, which is being built on Kirchstraße in Sauerlach, we are building according to the latest energy standards. The nine residential units are spread over three floors and offer floor plans ranging from two to three rooms. They are heated to the perfect temperature in winter using environmentally friendly district heating, and in summer garden or balcony areas offer wonderful hours of sunshine. In addition to storage rooms in the apartments themselves, each unit has a cellar in the basement of the building. Furthermore, trees and lawns surround the house and the close proximity to forest and meadow areas guarantee plenty of time outdoors. Both cars and bicycles have their permanent and, above all, safe place in Kirchstraße: in addition to in-house parking spaces, there are sufficient bicycle parking spaces available.
